Wavy Caps Shroom Description

Wavy cap mushrooms are classified as Psilocybe, which means’smooth head.’ This refers to the smooth, scaleless surface of these meadow mushrooms’ caps. The specific epithet cyanescens means ‘becoming blueish’. Psilocybe species contain the psilocin, psilocybin, and baeocystin mixtures. The mushrooms can create troubling side effects as a result of these compounds. Regurgitation, gastrointestinal pains, and anxiousness are among them. Take the mushrooms in moderation to avoid these negative effects.

The caps of this magical mushroom range in size from 2 to 5 cm. They are curved and eventually straightened crowns with somewhat clinging edges that often become wavy during development. They’re also a little bluish, especially around the borders. The gills of these mushrooms are earthy in color, adnate or moderately decurrent, and turn purple-earthy as the spores grow; the gill edges remain pale. The diameter of the stems ranges from 4.5-8 cm tall, spherical, and hollow.

They occasionally have a clavate base with blue rhizomorphs, and the white branch of Psilocybe cyanescens is sinewy with light blue cuts. The fibrillose fractional veil leaves a transient unmatched ring zone on the stem. Spores are smooth and ellipsoidal, measuring 9-12.5 x 5-7m. Generally, the shrooms have exceptionally dim purple-earthy colors.
